VB Soother Slushie

Ingredients

  • Honey - Local is best for allergies!

  • Fresh lemon - Bottled lemon juice works in a pinch.

  • Fresh ginger - I like to get squeezable minced ginger at the store so it stays usable longer.

  • Ice, ice, baby.


Directions

  1. Boil ginger in water for a few minutes. The longer you boil, the more concentrated the solution!

  2. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and honey, then allow to cool. I like to stash mine in my freezer for 5-10 minutes while I get out my blender. Maybe use this time to gargle some salt water!

  3. Add cooled mixture and ice cubes into the blender.

  4. Blend into a slushie!

  5. Add a straw and enjoy the yummy taste, soothing sensation and anti-inflammatory benefits!
