VB Soother Slushie
Throat pain and need to sing SOON? Whip up a VB soother slushie! It’s anti-inflammatory and instantly relieving. And you probably have all the ingredients in your fridge!
Ingredients
Honey - Local is best for allergies!
Fresh lemon - Bottled lemon juice works in a pinch.
Fresh ginger - I like to get squeezable minced ginger at the store so it stays usable longer.
Ice, ice, baby.
Directions
Boil ginger in water for a few minutes. The longer you boil, the more concentrated the solution!
Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and honey, then allow to cool. I like to stash mine in my freezer for 5-10 minutes while I get out my blender. Maybe use this time to gargle some salt water!
Add cooled mixture and ice cubes into the blender.
Blend into a slushie!
Add a straw and enjoy the yummy taste, soothing sensation and anti-inflammatory benefits!
